You must have either a Business or a Creator account to view insights about your audience.

Unless you’re representing a company or a brand, a Creator account will probably suit your purposes just fine. You can still be an influencer/entrepreneur and partner with brand sponsors, sell merchandise, and pay to promote your posts.

If you’ve already registered your account as a Personal one, you can always change it to Creator or Business in your Settings. Here’s how to do that. 

Step #1: Open the Instagram app.

Once you’ve switched your account from Personal to Creator or Business, you can view your audience insights. Here’s how to do that.
